NJ (JAANJ) is bringing back the ever popular Japanese Food Festival again this year! Collaborating with Japan Fes, the popular street fair from New York City, the Japanese Food Festival will be held at Overpeck Park on October 12th (Saturday).

Japan Fes, who is known to reach tens of thousands of people with their Japanese food stalls and events every week in NYC, is now expanding to NJ! This fantastic fall festival will feature over 30 food stalls, which will take you back to the nostalgic festival experiences in Japan. There will be fun activities for kids such as traditional Japanese candy sculpting and yo-yo fishing. There will also be outdoor Japanese Cultural performances for all to enjoy!

Date: October 12, 2024 (Saturday)

Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Location: Overpeck County Park Amphitheater Area, Leonia/Ridgefield Park, NJ

Last year, being our inaugural event, we had fewer vendors which resulted in long lines and food selling out within hours. This year, we’ve significantly increased the number of vendors and food stalls to ensure the best possible experience for all! We’ve put great thought into capturing the essence of Japan, so invite your family and friends to join in the festivities and come celebrate Japanese culture in NJ.

The success of the Japanese Food Festival depends on the help of our volunteers. Whether it’s pre-event preparation, day-of assistance, performances, marketing, or donations, even a little of your time and support can make a big difference. Our volunteers have made lifelong friends, expanded their circles by connecting with new people from various backgrounds, and even found job opportunities through volunteering! It’s a unique chance to create memorable experiences. If you’d like to help and contribute, please consider signing up using the form below.
